Shaping your real estate business’s future with strategic planning.
If you don’t have a clear plan for your business, someone else will. Recently, I had a conversation with someone close to me, asking a straightforward question: ‘Do you have a vision for where you want your business to be in three to five years?’
I was surprised when there was no clear answer or defined outcome. Reflecting on my own career, it always progressed because I had a sense of where I wanted to be in the future. I emphasized to this person that while the path forward may have uncertainties and challenges, having a clear destination in mind is crucial.
This doesn’t eliminate life’s challenges like frustration, setbacks, or failures. They are part of the journey. However, having a specific destination simplifies the process. I suggested creating a personal ‘contract’ or goal for yourself, sharing it with someone else, and then embarking on the journey towards that goal.
Choosing a direction and aiming for something you desire is far better than merely accepting whatever comes your way. My call to action is simple: Define a goal, share it, and actively work towards it.
